Africans probably have weaker immune systems for a variety of reasons.
Our small population of African Americans in the cities increase their risk to AIDS due to sexual behavioral issues and thereby weaken their immune systems as in Africa.
If whites survive at a greater rate it may be due to social differences from Africans and inner city African-Americans.
