Homeschooling. Not cheaper, but better.

Bingo1 Nailed it! The GOPe’s only chance is to slide left to grab any semblance of power that remains. The left caters to all the carnal desires of humans, and thus, will win again and again. We conservatives will be a small group “on the fringe” of this God-forsaken society, until it finally destroys itself.

Your battle analogy is fine when body counts are in play, but we are now dealing with minds. This is far more difficult to regroup and retake when the mind is brainwashed, trained to get things for free, ignore responsibility, do it if it feels good, count on government, etc.

I cannot agree that negative views of homosexuality are a social construct. Anatomy is very simple to understand and aberrant sexual behavior makes no more sense than saying three fingers are four. Truth and logic exist without requiring agreement by any group or individual.

Denying truth requires group think. However, the key is understanding that every individual knowingly chooses the wrong answer. When all is said and done, they are without excuse. There is no excuse needed for speaking the truth. The truth is that homosexuality is death: no procreation; no humans.

Here’s my take on the ‘unholy three’:
1. I’ve seen drug free young airmen turn into lazy, stupid, irrespective of duties and rank potheads, against whom I pursued Article 15’s.

2. When the choice is, dead baby or dead mom, mom wins with the fervent hope that she can be a mom, sometime in life. Hookers, teenagers, loose women I do not support their ‘habit’ supporting their habits.

3. Queers are an aberration of society, and should be treated as such, with no mercy or compassion, for they show none to society in their selfishness. Without scientific help, they do not add to the human race’s longevity, thereby holding a belief that all is due them, without the due being earned.

The airmen potheads: was that behavior a violation of law that prohibited them form selling, possessing, or dying mj. How did the law stop drug use in the military?

Group think is just a fact. It can line up with reality or natural law, or it might oppose it.

But it still doesn’t change the fact that most people always have and always will believe what they think most other believe.

See Tocqueville for how this operates even more strongly in a democratic society, where there are no truly effective competing sources of validation for an individual’s opinion.

Dear morph,

To your question: “was that behavior a violation of law that prohibited them form selling, possessing, or dying mj. How did the law stop drug use in the military?”

WHATH! (As was once evoked on Star Trek TOS).

It was behavior, (1) aqainst the UCMJ; (2) against the laws of the host nation where this occured - with no extradition treaty between them and the U.S.; and it put other airmen’s lives at risk. I disciplined them, yes them, once, and once they managed to find themselves over the balcony from the flight of the barracks stairs, and I don’t know how they did THAT! They were arrested by the host nation’s police, and were presented back to the American base commander for prosecution, with a written recommendation form the host nation’s prime minister, that they be on the next plane back to the U.S., or they would be arrested by the host nation’s military, and incarcerated according to their laws.

The point is laws don’t stop drug use. Responding to your comment about military mj use.

As morph said:
“The point is laws don’t stop drug use. Responding to your comment about military mj use.”

I agree, however, as being these kids supervisor at the time, applying the law was part of my ‘duties and responsibilities’. Three years in Southeast Asia, along with a cold-turkeyed from coke before I came along dad, taught me a lot.

I am not in favor of drug use, except what the doctors prescribe to us, as part of their ‘practice’. “Drugs”, as the idiots in the street use, are nothing but poison.

I agree and I would also prohibit drug use in the military and as employers find necessary. Also, no drugs for children.

I do think we never learned anything from prohibition.
