Gare du Nord train station in North East Paris, where you arrive after having landed at Charles de Gaul, and take the train into Paris:

The folks there are not quite Coco Chanel, but they are tightly packed together. And then they spread out around the city. And take the next train. Or plane. To and from Liberia.

BTW, they have already been released - there were 4 people from Guinea on one of the apartments, but it turned out that the one who fell ill did not test positive for Ebola.

in the old days I would have guessed a Brit would have a name like Nigel Pennyington-Smythe. But nowadays I sense it could have been a Raheem Abdul type Brit.

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...
