Right down to making up stuff like ‘MILLIONS of conservatives stayed home because they were too pure’. They lie like Democrats too.

Read the article, basicly it is another "vote GOP-e now and fix it later."

If the GOP-e gets your vote now there is no motivation for them to change anything.

They need to share the pain and right now the American Citizens that still have common sense and both eyes open are hurting.

the GOP keeps throwing up moderate losers.

I disagree. The GOP keeps throwing up LIBERAL losers.

To the author of this piece:
The elitist libs running the GOP declared war on us, not the other way around. We are willing to compromise - they are not.

>>>Don’t vote for those lousy Democrats when you can vote for a lousy Republican instead....sarc<<<

Well, if you don’t Vote for the “lousy Republican”, you are Voting for the “lousy Democrats”. No “sarc” required.

Any Republican with a Pulse is better than any Democrat, period. If people don’t agree, so be it. On to Hillary 2016!

No responses needed from the usual crowd. No minds will be changed by the obvious fact that any Republican Nominee would have been a better President than King Putt, Lord and Master of all he surveys.

This will be my only Post on the matter. I’m tired of being attacked for having a different Opinion on this subject.

Just my $.02, your mileage may vary.

Have a great Obama Day! You’ve earned it Comrades! LOL

95 percent of Republicans are not real conservatives and are moving this oountry in the same direction as the Democrats, except at a different speed.

I am not sure of your numbers but if they are accurate that would mean that "real conservatives" constitute only 5 percent of Republicans. Since Republicans constitute less than 50 percent of the voting population, that would mean that "real conservatives" are less than 2 1/2 percent of the voting population. I can understand the individual frustration of not being paid the desired attention, but how could any member of such a minority without a willingness to compromise, reasonably expect to have a dominate or even influential voice in a government controlled by majority vote.

Conservatives just want to see GOPe candidates like Thad Cochran pull votes from Black Democrats to win without TEA party voters. If they can do it, we can kiss the Republican Party goodbye and get busy forming our own. That’s not “extreme,” just realistic.

Conservatives don’t have a problem with candidates who favor an incremental return to limited constitutional government. The GOPe however isn’t even willing to halt the growth of government but insists on less freedom.

Exactly. A moderate would favor some governmental growth and some shrinking. These “moderates” put forth by the GOP always choose more regulation of American citizens.

This is an interesting strategy. Before committing to it, however, I have a couple of question. Will this new party compete under the same rules that require winning a majority of the votes cast in order to gain elective office? If we have to win a majority from the total electorate, including democrats, how do we accomplish that when we can't win a majority in the republican party?

Why don’t these people send their time trying to explain American culture to young people instead of yelling at conservatives?

It would be great to have a great fight in 2016. Once and for all see where America is heading. I would love Ted Cruz vs. Barry Sanders. That would be the fight of the century. Who would win.....I sincerely believe Ted. Ok to make it more fair so a socialist is not on the ticket. Ted Cruz vs. Elizabeth Warren. That would be an interesting race to also see where America is heading.

The Republicans that we elect to office and offer themselves as candidates are 95 percent non-conservative.

The electorate as a whole is 30 percent or more real conservative, with many misled into believing that many of the 95 percent are real conservatives when they are not...

It would be great to have a straightforward small-government (Rand) versus big-government (Hillary) dogfight.
