IRS audit in 3....2....1...
I wonder how he voted...
More business owners need to speak out if they have the forum like Emril. Put it in the face of this administration that THEY are killing jobs in the middle class. The GOP should be trumpeting this all over the place but they are too dumb to get out of their own way....
Uh oh! The NSA needs to go thru all Emerils phone conversations from the last 10 years in hopes of coming across him saying the N word or whatnot.
A century ago the bulk of our population earned their living as small businessmen (farmers, shopkeepers, blacksmiths, etc.). They knew and understood how free enterprise works.
Voters today are nearly clueless.
He used to be on Food Network. They are chock full of liberals. So, my guess is he voted for the regime that is choking his industry.
Is Emetic looking for a bailout?
The very fact Federal business regulations have become too complex and dealing with that 75,000 page monstrosity called the Internal Revenue Code explains why the middle class and small businesses are failing at a horrifying rate.
Bam!
Dunno about your argument Emeril.
I’ve dined at Emeril’s Delmonico in Las Vegas.
Without drinks, I think we spent $250 per person, including appetizers.
The booze and wine tacked on another $300-$400 per person.
I might be low balling it too.
I remember one night for three of us was about $6,000.
Another night with myself and a friend we spent $1,200 or so.
Emeril’s is a great restaurant but, measured against other experiences it’s more like “rather good”
High End Restaurants will be for the Overlords.
Chicken Nuggets with Soybean oil dipping sauce and Double McPinkSlimes with Processsed Cheeselike Product (ordered off the $2 “extra value” menu) will be for those lucky enough to scam a SNAP card.
Olive Garden, Red Lobster, etc. will be the approved food for the producer class... a dressed up version of the, soybean contaminated manna our Overlords bestow upon us as they dine on Ambrosia delivered to them on Capitol Hill by doves.
For the most part out in Western PA, I find that the producer class have all already “Settled for Applebees”.
No, thanks.
O-Bama!
It is already like that.
This is parallels the destruction of the middle class. There will be the few elites, and then the unwashed masses. High-end restraints for the elites. Chain restraints for the masses.
Glad to hear another person speaking out. Leftists have done more to separate the rich and the poor than anyone else ever could. They make it so hard for a business to exist that only the large companies and very tiny with no overhead can exist.
And the same is true across the land . . .
We just watched the local jeweler close across the street; the travel agency next door is now packing it up and calling quits. Both had been in business for say 40 years. Our downtown is become a ghost town.
He predicts that if the government doesnt start getting out of the way, the American restaurant industry will split and leave entrepreneurs and start-ups behind.
The reason is simple: Though we have a constitution that protects our rights, everyone that works for “big business” really has forfeited those rights - if they want to earn an income. I merely need to point out the fate of a certain pro football team after his phone call remarks were ILLEGALLY recorded and released - or a certain professional athlete who smacked his fiance in an elevator.
Small businessmen and the folks that work for them are too free. They can’t be controlled. The “establishment” wants them erradicated.
wipe out all but the biggest businesses
workforce participation plummets (reject unemployment numbers as they’re inaccurate)
annual salaries plummet
people will then reach for welfare...
which means they’ll vote for dems under the threat of losing their increasingly needed welfare if the GOP wins
Well as long as there is high end where our government officials and employees can spend out money that’s OK. We certainly can’t afford the prices. Vote them all out and shrink government and give it back to the people.
