Sorry - I’ve got yellow lab on the brain since it’s feeding time in my house.

I will pray for your precious Golden Retriever.

We also have a flat-coat Retriever, a rescue dog, and I call her my retriever girl.

I've resigned myself to accept that God, or the universe must think we can handle it.
Because unless we have a giant turtle for a pet, we will outlive our pets. Often several sets.

I am already preparing myself for the day Scooby, our 13-yr-old Lab-Ozzie mix begins showing signs in addition to loss of hearing.
