At least Elly Mae was able to keep Jethro at bay,, but it causes one to think, to ponder, Pearl Bodine and what 1st cousin of hers was genetically responsible for Jethro and Jethrine ( Jethro's twin sister). Did Jed have a weak moment? Oh say it isn't so...I just now have become able to watch the Andy Griffith show again.After turning my back on it because of Andy and Opie's skit for o'bama, I have just recently started watching it again. But back to subject matter, the world IS in a sorry state, and the last 6 years have been excruciating to live through/watch.
