I didn’t think the commercial was that bad. one question did come to mind though. why no women or minorities. all other armed services commercial are majority, minority.
(to use an Orwellian phrase).
I thought the soldier at the 20 second mark was a woman, because of the fluffy eyelashes. I could have been wrong.
There will be overt pandering soon enough. Then, after maybe seven to ten years doing it that way, and realizing this is keeping many non-gays (or non-out gays) from enlisting, there may be a reversal, equally as expensive, equally as heavy-handed.
Neither did I.
If there had been a minority woman, the "ultimate" minority, she would have PROBABLY said that she wanted to design bombs or be a general.
Penultimate I-AM-WOMAN minority, stuporwoman: 1/2 black and 1/2 American Indian (thereby Asian), FOUR-star General, divorced from a REAL jerk (of course, straight white male on welfare, drugs, alcoholic, druggie, adulterer and wife beater) mother of 10 children, homemaker, mechanic, bona fide genius and reads the Bible two hours every day.
.
Harharhar! That was fun.
