I am fairly certain the MS Supremes will not look at any of the voting irregularities. They will only look at the ruling of the lower court judge who ruled that McD needed to file within 20 days.

elections are staggered so that not all positions are up for election at once.
Supreme Court justices serve eight-year terms.
Each Supreme Court justice participates in deciding appeals from the entire state.
Decisions are by a majority vote of the court.
