I read about a guy that had a lot of old car parts...
iron... in the dirt in his yard...after you dig five or ten up...you would be tired...
Long 40-60 inch junk pipe in the ground would be confusing
to a metal detector...perhaps an easy way is to drive a few metal stakes to ground level...take a second stake and put
on top and drive it deep enough to be below surface level.
