“I dont vaccinate my daughter - in hindsight with the Autism links, Im glad I didnt. I didnt think it was healthy in general.”
If you believe the statistical correlation regarding autism, you should also believe the statistical certainty of contracting childhood diseases and the harm they do to children who get them.
One statistic is much more significant than the other. If you are going to rely on “herd” immunity for your children, you are very unwise especially in this age of unchecked illegal immigration.
Lack of vaccination causes outbreaks of childhood disease and complications of those diseases far outweigh any unproven link between vaccination and autism.
Did you die from any childhood diseases?
I didn’t think so...neither did I!
Don’t waste your time trying to reason with these folks, they are emotional not logical.
Autism is a tough disease to deal with, and it tramatic for a family to deal with what appears to be a normally developing child to suddenly introvert... of course they want to blame something for it. So they blame vaccines.
You can’t sway them with facts, its emotional and personal. Its far easier to blame some grand conspiracy of the government and or the medical community than to accept that their child sadly has a mental developmental disorder.
I am not beyond believing their may be an environmental influencer with autism, but there is little doubt it has a very major genetic component. Vaccine’s are not that environmental influencer however.
