I appreciate your list, but I'll state for the record once again that #28 is false. The facts are false, the narrative is false, and all of this is proven by filed legal documents. No charges filed? There were TWO raids (again, #28 is wrong), both resulted in confiscation of contraband, and I can give you the cites on both legal cases that were filed.

And Henry Juszkiewicz has never been a Republican. Sources? I know the man and have known him for years; plus I used www.opensecrets.org to check his political donations.

If you've followed either Gibson raid, then you'll know that I've been posting emails, documents, links, websites, since the raids first happened. I'm the thorn in FR's side when it comes to the Gibson raids. I've posted Harmonized Tariff Schedules, details of the importation papers, the name of the original final consignee, the lack of Lacey Act Paperwork, and so on.

How many sources do you want? Start with www.pacer.gov and download the 60 or so pleadings and affidavits filed by the government AND GIBSON for the cases U.S. v [Madagascar] Ebony Wood in Various Forms, Civil No. 3:10cv00747 (U.S. Dist. Ct. Mid. Dist. Tenn.), and U.S. v. 25 Bundles of Indian Ebony Wood, Civil No. 3:11-cv-00913 (U.S. Dist. Ct. Mid. Dist. Tenn). Read them.

We know your #28 is wrong because it only talks about the 2011 raid, and it talks about East Indian Rosewood. That wasn't the issue (although the East Indian Rosewood was illegally imported - and I can explain why - and the problem was the method of importation by Luthiers Mercantile, not the use of the wood, so the claim against Martin using the wood too is irrelevant). The forfeiture action for that raid was U.S. v. 25 Bundles of Indian Ebony Wood, Civil No. 3:11-cv-00913 (U.S. Dist. Ct. Mid. Dist. Tenn). Indian Ebony Wood. Not East Indian Rosewood fretboards as Gibson would have you believe. Gibson forfeited Ebony. Did you ever hear Henry J. talked about illegally imported East Indian Ebony? No? Neither did I, at least not publically.

You're missing the initial Madagascar Ebony wood raid, which resulted in U.S. v [Madagascar] Ebony Wood in Various Forms, Civil No. 3:10cv00747 (U.S. Dist. Ct. Mid. Dist. Tenn.).

Incidentally, I have all of the pleadings in both lawsuits and have read them repeatedly. Download them from www.pacer.gov and read them.

Go to opensecrets.org and tell me how many donations Henry Juszkiewicz has made to Democrats Jim Cooper and Bob Clement? You know he was a founding member of the Rainforest Alliance don't you? That he was a presenter at the Rock the Vote MTV show when Barack Obama won an award and Clinton won the lifetime achievement award? That's he's a founding member of the Clinton Global Alliance?

Before we go any further, you should also find out who Gene Nix is, what his role was at Gibson, and read the emails to Gibson executives telling them there was no legal way to import Madagascar ebony. You see, Gene Nix, Gibson's lumber procurement specialist, who had spent two weeks in Madagascar and who was the author of the 'no legal source' of Madagascar ebony email to Gibson management. Nix was also a co-author of the Gibson plans that discussed the lack of a legal source of Madagascar ebony, and had received the copy of the Malagasy regulations prohibiting export of the product, which he shared with management. Henry Juszkiewicz, in a usual moment of lying, told the press that Gene Nix was 'just a guy who sorts wood."

I can spend a day telling you what actually happened, and there are lots of FReepers who are aware that I know the details.
