The IRS will attempt to tax your income wherever you move to as you are still a US citizen so you will want your income to be hidden well, possibly into a family trust account. You want to find a country that allows you to become a citizen without revoking your current citizenship so you can get their passport. $2k isn’t a huge amount ,, if you’re collecting SS that’s 2 months.
