Obama is currently meeting privately with his cabinet to discuss the news from Iraq that ISIS has discovered scores of Weapons of Mass Destruction that Saddam Hussein had hidden before the start of the US Invasion in 2003 : reports Political Ears.

Buried in various spider holes and underground bunkers, the WMD stores were found in areas east, west, south and north around Tikrit and Baghdad. The existence of the WMD stores, unknown since 2003, have now become known. Now, known unknowns include ISIS’ specific plans for the WMDs.....

Known unknowns?

That's when you know what you don't know.

It' a whole league up from the players in DC.

It seems that I recall that ISIS fighters had found WMD’s in Iraq about a month ago. The weapons were chemical and gas types of WMD’s. It was around the same time that they overran Mosul.

The news media were either fixated on nuclear weapons - or were deliberately steering the conversation away from chemical and gases. Sadaam Hussein used such weapons on the Kurds. That was never a secret.

"How does ISIS waltz in and immediately “find” these?"

Well, they were just laying there at the Syrian border.

The aircraft were not taken care of very well. You think they would have wrapped them up before burying them in the sand.

Remember, our satellite intel caught the Russians moving large numbers of WMDs to Syria to hide them for Shoeshine Boy.

This cannot possibly be true because it does not fit the template.

They gave it back and walked away from the victory in order to ensure defeat. Obama didn’t end a war; the war was over. But he ran on ending it, so he pulled out throwing away all we had fought for. Now, in a few years anyway, every American public school child will be taught that Bush and America “lost” the war in Iraq, just as they are taught that America “lost’ the war in Indochina.

In both instances, Democrat betrayal leads to American set backs of won wars.

I can’t imagine they ever expected those things to work again after being buried in the sand. Of course, it’s still better than getting hit with a JDAM.

Truman did the right thing with the A bombs but it would have been hard to have not done so and condoned the resultant slaughter of the invasion.

It doesn’t say much in favor of FDR when a tremendous number of people knew about or at least suspected the bomb development but he keeps it from his own vice president.

Anyhow, Mr Kansas City mob buddy Harry tried to get my dad killed in Korea. I still haven’t forgave and forgot :-(

The ‘A’ Bomb was my only reference....

As for the unforgiveness, just remember that only hurts you, the person you do not forgive has no knowledge of it, unless of course you tell them. Bitterness and unforgiveness cause disease and suffering.....

I always forgive those who have hurt me according to the word, and ask God to work it into me. Holding that kind of grudge never hurts the one against whom it is held, only hurts the one holding it. Live free.

That was my thinking, too. A lot of ISIS members are probably old fighters for Saddam and knew where it was all cached.

Does this help?

http://cns.miis.edu/stories/100304_iraq_cw_legacy.htm

On February 12, 2009, Iraq acceded to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), a multilateral treaty banning the development, production, stockpiling, transfer, and use of chemical weapons.[8] (To date, 188 countries have signed and ratified the CWC.) After joining the Convention, Iraq was obligated to declare within 30 days any legacy stocks of chemical weapons it had inherited from the Saddam Hussein regime. On March 12, 2009, Iraq declared Bunkers 13 and 41 at Muthanna containing filled and unfilled chemical munitions and precursors, as well as five former chemical weapons production facilities, to the international body overseeing CWC implementation—the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague, the Netherlands.[9]

Because of the hazardous conditions in Bunker 13, UNSCOM inspectors were unable to make an accurate inventory of its contents before sealing the entrances in 1994. As a result, no record exists of the exact number or status of the sarin-filled rockets remaining in the bunker. According to the UNMOVIC final report in 2007, the rockets “may be both filled and unfilled, armed or unarmed, in good condition or deteriorated.”[10] In the worst-case scenario, the munitions could contain as much as 15,000 liters of sarin. Although it is likely that the nerve agent has degraded substantially after nearly two decades of storage under suboptimal conditions, UNMOVIC cautioned that “the levels of degradation of the sarin fill in the rockets cannot be determined without exploring the bunker and taking samples from intact warheads.”[11] If the sarin remains highly toxic and many of the rockets are still intact, they could pose a proliferation risk.

Because the exact location of the storage facility was reported to the UN on March 12, 2009. It wasn’t a secret. The media just chose to ignore it.

For years, I used a CNN source, to show my lib friends that the narrative was BS. Then, one day, it was gone. I’ve searched and tried to find the early reports of the trucks heading to Syria and I cannot find them.

If anyone has a link to a credible source, I’d appreciate that.
