Not a bad program, just a shame that someone who was going for that program, pretty much did the utterly wrong activity. An yes, the unwise nature of his decisions doesn’t show maturity.
Is the writer attempting to imply that Michael Brown was stupid, without actually saying so? That’s what “little kid in a big body” suggests to me.

I agree, I was afraid my comment might sound dismissive of technical or career training. Most of these for profit training schools are rip offs, but better than nothing I suppose. There are lots of sound post high school vocational training institutions, but, unfortunately, Vatterott does not appear to one of them, judging by online reviews. Even the employees who reviewed it as a place to work called it a rip off for the students, who are encouraged to lie on financial aid applications.

Bet he was an optimist too...no negative attitude or thoughts ever entered his mind.
Did he, or did he not, attack the police officer doing his duty? The question that must be answered.
Now he's just a big thug in a body-bag.
