Gov. Nixon Calls For ‘Vigorous Prosecution’ Of Darren Wilson
The Daily Caller ^ | 8-20-2014 | Chuck Ross

Not content with a regular prosecution or a vigorous investigation, Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon said he hopes that Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson will receive a “vigorous prosecution” in the shooting death of Michael Brown on Aug. 9.

“A vigorous prosecution must now be pursued,” Nixon said in a five minute video address posted to his website Tuesday.

“The democratically elected St. Louis county prosecutor and the attorney general of the United States each have a job to do,” said Nixon, a Democrat.

“Their obligation to achieve justice in the shooting death of Michael Brown must be carried out thoroughly, promptly, and correctly,” said Nixon of investigators.

Stuff like "car identification" is why I love FR.

Yes, it's the little things.

He didn’t even show up in Ferguson until the fourth day. It’s all politics. Another rat loser in high office.

The "V-6" part of the Volvo logo with a solid bar between each letter. V-O-L-V-O.

Maybe not. I've been looking at images of late 60s and early 70s Volvo sedans and none of them have the bar between the letters of the "Volvo". It probably does say V-6. Seeing the tail lights would be the best indicator.

Nixon resigned on August 8, 1974, so it could be anything late 60s (although the squared-off body style is certainly more 1970s) up to a 1975 model year.

Will this make it more difficult to recruit and retain good police officers in MO? I would think so.

I don't think Gov. Nixon is looking for good officers. He has other qualifications in mind.

The people of Missouri would be better served with Pee Wee Herman as their governor. Nixon is a “wimpus patheticus” and is way over his head in the Ferguson mess.

Found one! Volvo 164E has the bar between the letters on the rear Volvo badge. Image doesn't indicate year, but the lines on the trunk lid appear to match to the image above.

Nixon should be impeached for that statement.

It definitely says "VOLVO." This picture of a 1973 Volvo (different model, of course) clearly shows the font used by Volvo back then, and it is identical to the one used in that car:

Now, I have a little document I’d like you to find a paper copy of. It’s a long-form birth certificate from 1961.....

No way, man! Everyone who's gone looking for that sucker is d-e-d dead.

Governor Nixon is no better than the POS rioting fools. This case does not even deserve an indictment from a Grand Jury - yet this scumbag has already judged Wilson as guilty. It is time for the spirit of William Quantrill and the Missouri Partisan Rangers to once again protect the good citizens of Missouri.

Fortunately for Missourians, Nixon is term-limited out. This is his second term, and the Mo. Constitution says, “No mas”. I personally think he’s going to go after Blunt’s senate seat.

I told my wife last night, “ If we were multi Millionaires I would get him and his family new identities and get them out of the country with enough money to start a new life”.

So, in 2014 America, a governor in MO can threaten a police officer who was brutally assaulted by a criminal while a governor in TX is charged with a crime for unfunding a corrupt public employee.

All because the current government believes that demographics no longer favor a the Constitutional government that has sustained the greatest and most prosperous nation in the history of the world? So, now we become a cross between Argentina and Zimbabwe, but with less unity?
