Is it possible the cop shot Brown without provocation? Yes. Is there any reason to think so? No.
Unlike Albuquerque where police murdered a homeless man camping on a hillside, I don’t think the St. Louis police acted without provocation. I base this opinion on news reports all of which allege a physical confrontation before the shooting.
We need to wait for the investigation to have the details of that confrontation.
The cop may have acted improperly by shooting a fleeing person. If s/he did it was not race-driven but adrenalin-driven.
Nothing excuses looting.
>> How is it possible to have two people wrestling around in the driver’s seat with one of them weighing about 300 pounds — simply not credible.
>>
>> Did the cop pull Brown through the window and into the car?
>>
>> It would have been just his head
Two persons wrestling in the front seat is more plausible than pulling someone’s head through the window. Unless a person is leaning over, as in to speak with the driver, there’s little chance the driver will be able to pull the other person’s head through the window.
Rather than invent scenarios wait for the investigation.
Those news reports were coming from the police but have now changed as the forensic evidence leaks out.
The police have no witnesses for their account other than the officer himself -- and that's not good.
Even if there was a scuffle, let's call it, where is the reason for firing 12 shots with brass scattered from the front seat of the vehicle to the body 35 feet away.
What will be your excuse if it comes out that he was shot in the back while trying to get away from the cop???
and you don't think that's a possibility.
>> What will be your excuse if it comes out that he was shot in the back while trying to get away from the cop???
First, I don’t need an “excuse”.
Second, he “felt” the shot then turned around so yes, he was shot in the back.
>> 12 shots
I have not seen any report listing a specific number of shots. I’m not say there aren’t any. Do you have a source?
Of course it’s a possibility. There has been no mention of it - at all.
Let’s not invent scenarios.
I think the point is that witnesses indicate that the officer was trying to pull him into the vehicle or restrain or hold onto him, while the kid was trying to get loose and get away from him.
That does not bode well for the officer —

The report I’ve read claim that Brown pushed the cop into the car.
reportS
People in the neighborhood have told reporters that they remember what happened next as a series of movements: the officer, it seemed to them, trying to put Brown into a car; Brown running with his hands in the air; the policeman shooting; Brown falling.
The next morning, Jon Belmar, the police chief of St. Louis County, which covers Ferguson, was asked, at a press conference, how many times Brown had been shot. Belmar said that he wasnt sure: more than just a couple of times, but not much more.

>> Brown running with his hands in the air
That’s a new one.
Brown’s partner claims Brown “felt” the shot then turned and raised his hands.
The article is fluff, citing unnamed “people in the neighborhood”.
Yup. Few are observing there are two distinct events here: the killing and its alleged coverup (I dunno what actually happened), and the non-sequitur arson/looting/vandalism/rioting. The latter has no practical connection with the former, and must be addressed as a separate crime. Wanna protest the former issue? fine, hold demonstrations and ask questions and pursue legal channels. This trying to justify the latter by conflating it with the former and likening it to Gaza’s occupation is pure BS; they’re just trying to excuse their evil behavior and escape due punishment. Pull that burning/looting/etc crap in many neighborhoods, and the cops wouldn’t be able to “occupy” because the locals would be imposing order with extreme prejudice.
You asked for this part — “trying to put Brown into a car” — and I provided it for you.
Or is your memory that short???
Let them have self-rule.
Why do you want to proceed to the hanging rather than wait for the investigation?
This is part of the investigation —
It’s speculation.
Neither you nor I know the details of the initial confrontation.
” Am I Next?”
Don’t be startin $hit and you won’t be.
