Guess you may be right. Thanks Robin, RIP. Selfish sob, I mean for his family & friends. Suicide, what is it “they” say, a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
Sad.
Not as sad, however, as the demise of the USA by our own hand.
These people have spent all their lives expecting free s**t. They understand that property of others exists to be confiscated to give them that free s **t.
They instinctively recognize that, in the modern welfare state, looting is life.
In the——limited——News Cartel coverage I’ve seen of Ferguson none of the black witness accounts have included the race of the cop. Normally the press fakers would be yammering on how “white cop” kills unarmed child.
Curious.
“Never again can we allow the MSM to install a foreign communist tyrant, bent on the destruction of the United States, as our American CIC.”
MSM: No problem. Hillary was born in America and we can prove it! /s;)
Also, I distinctly remember a video - making the rounds last week - of two black female officers trying to arrest a black male suspect. He simply pushed them away and walked off, while a crowd laughed, hooted, and took the video.
I can't be the only person on whom that scene made a lasting impression.
Ever notice how they don’t loot Korean or Latino neighborhoods? Wonder why?
The shooting should be investigated. The militarization of the police is something that continues to be of concern and should be watched.
None of the behavior of the police excuses them from doing their job when massive crowds destroy cities, even if what they are "protesting" may be a reasonable cause.
Black communities and culture today needs to stand up against the actions of their own. Failure to do so will continue to relegate them to second class citizens, not because of race but because of their actions.

For some reason, they left the above shop unscathed. Must have been respect for the ink/S.
Would you like to revise and extend your remarks?

I will just admit I was very, very wrong.
Well, we still don’t know all the facts and I guess both of us were jerking the knee.
We normally know better! lol
There are many examples of that, but they're not being discussed nor elevated. In fact, I personally know of some and it is really stunning to see parents getting angry and spiteful of their children who do rise above, get out of poor communities and go to college and are gainfully employed. I continue to remain shocked and dismayed at the abject lack of direction provided, specifically, to black male youth. It is an epidemic, ignored by both parties, ignored in large part by the majority of the United States. Yet, our failure to attempt to reach out and do something about it will become part of the legacy of a failing country.
I hearken back to the days where the black community beleived in the American Dream and wasn't dominated by a "give up" culture. I think Jack Kemp was absolutely on to something with some of the programs he was promoting.
God knows it won't be race-hustlers who live that community up.
Anyway - I was wrong, at least about the reputation and promise of Michael Brown. I still think the police officer may have over-reacted but I wasn't in his shoes. And I remain convinced the reaction of MRAP vehicles, Tanks, and the like by the initial response by police was absolutely wrong. Johnson, the guy in charge with the State Police did the best thing - told that community they had to take care of their own.
The rush to judgement by all isn’t helpful. How many times have we been through these incidents and when the dust clears the truth is never what was speculated early on.
I was a boy north of LA when the Watts riots broke out. Almost the same thing we see in MO today.
This kid should not have been shot. He was a good one on his way to college and trying to get out. He should be celebrated. Unfortunately, all that will be lost by the rioting crowds.
Minutes before he met with that officer, he had strong armed by the throat a small older immigrant shopkeeper who was trying to stop him from stealing the cigarillos. Cigarillos that are used in the hood to make blunts - enormous joints. He was violent and rough with an authority figure MINUTES before he met with the cop. That plays to his character.
And re on his way to college. Not quite. He was almost two years behind in high school, but matriculated, and on his way to a vocational training program. He had no grades, no good tests.
By all evidence, he was thuggish, druggish, and no good at all.
I, like you, gave the boy the benefit of the doubt at first too. I even suspected racism on the part of the officer. Now, I’m not sure whether there was excessive use of force or not. I’m open on that pending more evidence. But the kid was by his actions a violent criminal and I could care less what color his skin is.
Should not have been shot? What does that mean?
