If it can continue to stock up the Iron Dome artillery and keep its offensive weaponry in good supply, then it should do fine according to the laws of nature.

It's just my sense, but I think Israel is really tired of playing defense.

Since he's an utter idiot,{Obama} there is just no way he's orchestrating events to the degree expressed. He's a tipped over road cone in the middle of a busy intersection.

LOL - that's funny - and accurate...

You don't think that Val is trying to tip Egypt back to the Brotherhood?

Honestly, I don't know. That's the darkest scenario from our government's perspective. Possible, but I don't have access to the inner workings of her head.

Outright malice and the desire to destroy our country is certainly a possibility on the part of Jarrett and the rest of the crew, but utter incompetence, misguided goals and total confusion is another possibility.

When dealing with the Middle East, I think understanding what the US goals are is nice to know but the shitstorm that goes on their all the time rages in directions we can only observe. We can try to influence it but it's in a constant state of upheaval and change.

No matter how the Muslim Brotherhood situation in Egypt settles out, I think Obama (for real, this time) will learn about on television with the rest of us.

There is near-universal agreement among Israel’s Jews that it shold obliterate Hamas. However, the government is very reluctant to directly oppose US dictates except in those areas where its survival is at stake. For that reason it is continuing to destroy the tunnels but not attacking forcefully to wipe out Hamas. Hamas, of course, is a Muslim Brotherhood affiliate supported by the Obama administration.

So... This is an article that needs to be read through to the finish so that it all comes together. It is true that Obama undermined Egypt...

I suppose the problem I have with the premise, if this is indeed the premise, is that Obama does this sort of thing on purpose.

I really do believe that there is a lot of blundering going on, and that we would do well to stop thinking that Washington houses the world’s puppeteers.

If you want to change the world, don’t be Obama-Kerry. Instead, bow to them, appeal to their selfish interests, and make them do your bidding.

Why did Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority recently make ‘a peace agreement with Hamas’, knowing Hamas is affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood?

Also....The PA could have easily sent security forces into Gaza to stop Hamas rockets from being fired, which would have prevented Israel from having to fight Hamas...but they didn’t..so also begs the question why they didn’t?

additionally....It’s 9yrs. since Israel gave the Palestianian Authority control over Gaza......why does the PA allow it to remain a place shielding terrorists... and this with the Gaza ‘citizens’ full knowledge and co-operation?

These are questions that so often are not brought into discussion when in fact the PA has direct influence and control over Gaza...and Hamas.

Many disagree but I believe that Abbas and Hamas share thr same goal in the destruction of Israel and the mass murder of Jews. That is why they were able to form their coalition government in April.

There is a little good-cop/bad-cop going on. Unfortunately, this operation, if successful militarily, will end with a renewed 2-state peace process, even though the closure of Ben-Gurion Airport showed the futility of that approach.

....”Abbas and Hamas share the same goal in the destruction of Israel and the mass murder of Jews”....

I agree....and I think BiBi well knows this too. But one does wonder why our Media doesn't make more issues and references to this “fact”. But then our media is handled now according to political agendas.

I do not believe Obama is going for the least amount of opposition. He seems, instead, to be walking a tightrope (red line) between staying in power are being removed as an enemy of the state.
