The thesis of “The Bell Curve” is that crap like the “War on Poverty” has encouraged the poor, the stupid, the lazy and immoral to breed like rabbits - with no negative consequences. We have actually paid to make the overall black population stupider and more lazy.

The thesis was NOT that black people are inherently inferior.

Read Larry Elder, or Thomas Sowell, or Walter E. Williams. Look at Allen West. There aren't many guys of other races who match up, particularly to Drs Sowell and Williams. LTC West has more balls than Obummer, and the race baiters Holder, Jackson and Sharpton put together.

I have worked with and for some outstanding black men and women who sure as heck weren't lazy, or stupid, or irresponsible.

What's to blame ? Our subsidizing poverty, and subsidizing "women" who don't read "cursive", but who squirt out (or abort) babies they effectively abandon, rather than give birth to and effectively mother them. It's very simple logic.

The thesis of the “bell curve” is that data shows there is a difference in the in the AVERAGE IQ of the various races, and because there is a strong correlation between IQ and success in life, it is those difference in average IQ that explain the successes of the people of the various racial groups.

The Bell Curve does not at all say that you cannot have geniuses in racial groups with lower IQ, only that their numbers will be fewer than in the racial group with the higher IQ. This agrees with what we see in the real world, and makes perfect sense when one looks at the distribution curves.

Moreover, we are only exacerbating this imbalance with policies like war on poverty, affirmative action and diversity programs, which tend to increase the lower IQ population.

I think “The Bell Curve” does a superb job of explaining the realities we see in the world when it comes to the various races. But its content is so politically incorrect (though factually correct) that no public figure dares refer to it.

There are consequences to be paid when one ignores reality, and sooner or later we will pay them. Reality is a tough taskmaster.
