Seinfeld ushered post-modernism into mainstream culture. Life was treated as a meaningless collection of trivial acts. Bad things would happen and Jerry would say thats a shame before moving on with whatever trivial thing he was doing. Georges fiancee died and he paused for a moment before shrugging his shoulders and declaring his intent to get a cup of coffee. President Obama is our first post-modern President and his Seinfeldian outlook was on full display yesterday.Yesterday saw the take down of a Malaysian Airlines flight at the Ukraine-Russia border. It killed 295 people and 23 Americans.

IMO, what we saw was Obama’s narcissism in it’s full rage. Narcissist have no compassion or concern for others. The world revolves entirely around him in his mind. First person pronouns only please.

Are you just catching on to this? This tragedy and Obama’s response to it pales in comparison to Obama’s ‘shout outs’ to audience members before getting around to discussing Ft. Hood. If anything, he's actually improved (even though he still fails) at trying to hide his Alexithymia.

George Costanza would be a far better POTUS. Well, the cleaning ladies in the White House would be happy, for one thing.
(Until they checked carefully the cashmere sweaters George gave them as a gift.)

This jerk makes even Bill Clinton appear to be a man who RESPECTED the office of POTUS.
