I believe we are witnessing the beginnings of a nervous breakdown, plus I suspect the President has been ‘prescribed’ a holistic version of hallucinogens by his handlers. I’m not joking. Obama appears to be brushing perilously near a clean break with reality.
He’s never been wired to reality, he lives in a socialist utopia. I hope we see him soon, being led out of the WH in a straight jacket...

That there would have precipitated an acute constitutional crisis. Can you imagine how the Secret Service would respond? I think it would have devolved into shooting very quickly, and both sides would have the fight/revolution they want.
I sympathize with you, but I can understand why Perry wouldn’t do this. (Not saying I don’t agree with you, but I can understand why it didn’t and most likely won’t happen.)
He created the crisis to try to get the Republicans to cave on amnesty.
Even if the Republicans don't cave, Obama comes out ahead: he gets hundreds of thousands of new Democrat voters, he can use this to fire up the Hispanic vote in November, and the State of Texas and the American taxpayer have to pay all the costs.

Judge Jenkins (sitting across from 0) is probably just as disgusted by 0’s behavior as Perry is (but for different reasons) because he is catching a lot of heat locally from all sides for his plan to house at least 2000 of these disease-ridden, welfare-leaching illegals in Dallas County. This meeting was originally scheduled to discuss those plans and Perry was only invited at the last minute when he refused to simply pose for a photo op with 0 at the airport in Austin. Could it be that Jenkins just realized that he is nothing but a stooge for 0’s evil shenanigans?

I heard clips of Obama on a morning show today, he sounded like he was doing stand up comedy addressing his audience about negotiating with Congress. Does he really think being President is a joke?

I have been telling this Forum about his predicament for over two years. The Governor can not be a leader if he refuses to tell the GOPe to go pound sand. Being a leader means making hard choices, something Perry has refused to do.

Well said. I have followed Perry. He is a very poor leader.
Perry is extremely weak when it comes to understanding what it means to be an American.
Perry doesn't have the intellectual capability to understand that our Republic is being destroyed right before our eyes.
There is an invasion by third world anti-American criminals going on through his State's border and the idiot doesn't have the strength of character to call on citizens to help seal the border.
History will show that Perry, by his inaction, was complicit in the destruction of the United States.
