Well, I am sort of old, LOL. I saw Nirvana open for Sonic Youth in the early 90's. Nirvana was little known then.

Seattle was a lot of fun for me growing up, but drugs started making things ugly for a lot of people (mainly heroin). I saw a lot of people end up in terrible situations if not dead. I wasn't that stupid, thankfully.

I grew up in Michigan and Kid Rock and Uncle Cracker were dj’s at my high school’s dance. At the time, I didn’t think much of Kid Rock. lol Little did I know...

I think it was around 89 when I first heard of Nirvana. I loved them right away, especially because the music at that time started to suck with all those damn love song ballads being played. ( Michael Bolton, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, etc..... barf!! )

Was that STP on the poster Stone Temple Pilots? I love that band as well!
