She should have never taken the ones she did. Sarah Palin has not needed the GOP since long before 2008 and does not need it now.

At the moment, that may be highly unlikely, but it is sure good to hear the topic raised.

It's not "highly unlikely", it downright impossible and the public will not support it. Obama was down in the polls prior to the last election, but he is a good campaigner and excellent at whipping up his base. With the media giving him their usual assist, this would only hurt conservatives/Republicans.

How did the last impeachment work out for us? Going into the process we LOST seats in 98'. So much for the base showing up to give us an electoral win. The very threat in fact energized the opposition even more. And so we impeached the perjurer in chief Clinton, who was predictably not convicted. His approval ratings went up and he remains one of the most popular political figures in American politics.

Impeaching the next Democrat President, this mongrel being considered the first black President, would be a disaster. There are not the votes for it, talking about it makes us sound crazy and mobilizes our opponents who currently are not fired up about the midterms, and simply has no chance to go anywhere.

Amazing how often you end up on the wrong/liberal side of issues here on FR.

If you can show the class where the founders mentioned a presidents color or a party’s political fortunes as determination for impeachment, please do so. If you can’t, then how about we stick with their version. Because they were much wiser than the people that find creative new excuses daily to ensure his continued seat in the office.

That's because it's stupid, it would be counter productive, and it isn't going to happen. However down on Obama a majority are right now, you try to impeach the first half black President and the media would whip up his base and make conservatives/Republicans look like a bunch of racist nuts.

It is apparent to any rational person that Obama has committed numerous impeachable offenses. His action on the border is outright treasonous.

To revere our beloved Constitution requires Obama's impeachment.

Anything less is to betray our Constitution.

Let the evil left scream racism, blah, blah blah.

Impeachment will awaken many to his high treason.

I understand the reluctance to mix it up with Obama.

I get it. I really do.

However I think it is time to take it strongly to the left. Just to be clear I am talking about respectfully, and all that. But face it: we have hesitated with the left for an entire generation now.

Everything ... we are timid about.

Sarah is speaking the 100% plain truth. You can avoid the discussion, but I am all for it.

I don’t know it will go anywhere right now, but it will liven up things, and it will also keep a focus on Palin - something I think is usually a good idea.

Thanks for speaking up Mrs. Palin.

Thanks also for your feedback. I understand your reluctance, but I do not actually agree with it right at the moment.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Found Here:http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/declaration_transcript.html

We have and will continue to fight this the legal way. Like the founders did.

This is Soviet Style Human migration.

Replace the Ukrainians with Russians and you have a Donetsk Peoples Republic.

Ditto with Lithuania or Prussia.

That is what they are doing, change our Demographics, and are the American people suppose to stand by?

It's like having a Speakerphone repeating "Everything is fine" while there are burning ruins all around you.

Some people want that migration and leftist control. They just don’t want to be seen wanting it. So they become the ‘voices of moderation’. They want to have it both ways...to their benefit.

I remember however, some guy talking about moderation in defense of liberty being no virtue. But he was probably not nearly as smart as modern Cheshires...

Thank you for the ping, that was inspiring!

I’m with you KC, anything we’ve done in the past is just that, the past! It seems to me the rules of engagement have shifted and we are going to be left in the dust IF we don’t get in there and fight this criminal bull****!!

Go Sarah, say it loud and say it often!

Yes, it's amazing how unpopular political realism can be much of the time - but so be it.

Remember when the Democrats won Congress in 2006. Bush was way down in the polls and much of the political left wanted to impeach him for supposedly lying about WMD's. Well the liberals were smart enough to realize they were better of letting Bush rot on the vine and taking the win in 2008. Democrat leadership made a point of nixing any talk of impeachment because they knew that while President Bush's job approval was low, the American people would not have supported impeaching a man who, mistakes aside, was trying to defend this country.

Obama is not in the same league as Bush. But the same principal applies. Obama's job approval is low now, but try to impeach him and you threaten to make a martyr out of him. His base would rally fanatically and his poll numbers would go up, which would imperil what should be a good election night for us in 2014 with a chance to retake the Senate.

Obama is NOT going to be impeached. Period. There are not the votes for it even among Republicans in the House. It isn't going to happen. Impeachment is a political act, and the politics don't support it. Stop daydreaming and fantasizing and focus on the real world and what is actually possible.

We are governed by a Constitution. Not Political Realism. The fact that some people THINK that political realism usurps constitutional governance is what got us screwed to begin with.

Barry will be impeached at some point along with many GOP enablers being tossed out on their election losing asses. When that day happens, those that fought it will be mocked thoroughly. And they deserve to be.

It is much more than tens of thousands, more like 290,000 in the last few months and hundreds of thousands more on the way now that the coast is clear and the borders are open.

Some people fight against everything was ever about and are proud of it. Some people call their liberalism ‘conservatism’ and mock those pointing it out.

Until those people are gone, expect to see it more as the elections near. Because they prevent the rest of us from using our time to unite behind conservative values, people and actions.

The more we waste time debating basic conservatism with liberals here, the more success they bring home to their handlers.

You really remind me of a perpetually loosing football team Ace, "wait till next year".

There ain't no more "next years" as far as the way the country is going.

Lets go impeach the bastard in person.
Pitchforks, ax handles, whatever is required.
There should be millions converging on DC.

Unfortunately, people unwilling to even defund their propaganda wing (The MSM) via ending their monthly payments to the Cable company, aren’t likely to get off their couch and miss Game of Thrones.

If however someone does march on DC, we can be sure Millions of conservatives will watch it unfold live and bitch to high heaven about it all from the safety of their Lay-Z-Boy.

Yeah, it’s a big “YOU FIRST”.
I got to work tomorrow to feed my family.
I discuss going to DC with my wife in such a scenario and she thinks I’m nuts. Most people have the normalcy bias that causes the same opinion.
I don’t. I pray for it. (but, by Gods will only) I think we are beyond impeachment or elections solving anything.
It’s going to take something supernatural from the LORD almighty to get things moving in this land. I trust God, he moves things to His ends.
I pray for revival, while I swing my ax handle from my Lazy boy.
God may just have the end of this country in his plan.

Well I ditched my cable/dish in 2001 so I went first a long time ago. I also was quite active in dealing with Dem/lib eco nazis to the point that the Animal Liberation Front circulated a ‘Wanted poster’ of me and did an internet campaign advocating there members ‘not to harass me’. Got lots of threatening phone call from Sierra Legal Defense Fund as well. You’ve heard of them right? They burn buildings, cars, trucks and such?

Tell the wife it’s your turn. In the meantime I’ll keep doing what I can. Together we might just make a difference.
