Not putting down anyone who wants to watch football. Still a free country. But the football I grew up with is withering on the vine.
I was commenting on the current sad state of American football and on the better conditioning of the Futbol players.

Agree totally...the NFL is dead to me, with their pink shoes, ugh...college foot- and basketball is coming close, but at this point I can't give up on sports entirely! Or can I?

...sure, I’ll try and do that, if you’ll promise to name a soccer player who could survive one routine football play at any position other than placekicker (or holder)...
...are you so dense as to seriously believe that no NFL running back, or wide receiver, or defensive back, could not possibly survive a soccer game for lack of training...?
