The ISIS Iraq-Syria caliphate – Institute for the Study of War
ISIS claims their caliphate extends from Aleppo, Syria to Diyala in Iraq.
ISIS spokesman Shekh Abu Muhammad al-Adnani announced today the establishment of the Caliphate in Iraq-Syria and appointment of Abu Bakr as caliph.

Under Islamic law, jizya or jizyah is a per capita tax levied on non-Muslim subjects.

Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi had himself named Caliph—a position of total power! He is both Emperor and Pope. He will need to take Baghdad (his home town) as his capital now. He has in fact, by doing this declared war on Iran and lay claim to Mecca and the Holy places of Islam—He will need to expand. i believe he is smart enough to take Baghdad—by stelth. Then Jordan, The gulf states and Egypt. He can’t do too much to us as he will ne locked in a life or death struggle with Iran.
Sure is, got his slack jawed Kerry-Heinz flying around peace making. Declared all wars at an end due to his efforts. A veritable legend in his own mind.
