What led you to choose living on the street? How long did you do it? Wasn’t it scary? I know, so many questions so little time:)

Young and carefree. Had friends 1000+ miles away, outdoor rock concerts, etc. Probably about a month total. At times it was frightening, yes. Completely different set of concerns. Most of the time it was okay, and it was very eye-opening. There is a significantly sized population of underclass, who are there by choice. Very little insulation between self and the seedy/dangerous part of that underclass.

I wouldn't do it now, by choice; but if I had to live that way, it would not be a "new" experience.

We all have our excuses and stories to tell. I am willing to bet that many of those are more than two months delinquent. I want to hear none of their circumstances. I pay my bills.
