Dragging toddlers across the desert and then swimming them across the Rio Grande like cattle is child abuse no matter how you slice it. They’re going to make great Americans. s/ All of the “adult” invaders should be arrested and thrown in jail. Not worshipped by the Border Patrol guys.

I agree. I had a friend at work who is Mexican but here legally. She once told me she was flying home to see her extended family and it sounded like she would be back at her folks’ the same day.
Oh, no, they would not drive home that night. Too dangerous.
Other friends have talked about how bad it is with teh Narcos in charge. Some of my kids’ friends with family in Mexico are not allowed to hike or ride around the grandparents’ ranch — the kids have to stay in the yard now because of crime.
And some parents send young children, babies and toddlers into that? Into a lion’s den of murder, theft, corruption, abuse?
Crazy.
