2DV is right on target again, regarding NYAmerican's wrong-headed nanny-state "concern" that convicted felons shouldn't be allowed to conceal carry. 2DV says: And yes, I think that people released from jail and prison should get their rights back, including voting and the 2nd Amendment. If they don’t deserve these back, they are too dangerous to be allowed back into society.

Thanks for explaining to me that Freedom Requires Responsibility and how we need to leave others alone and MYOB.....just a quick question.....exactly why are we jailing people in the first place? Are they being irresponsible? Shouldn’t we just leave them alone and mind our own business?
