Most likely, their appearance at booster events is part of their contractual agreement. Somebody from the series had to come, and it probably was’nt going to be the older brother who was temporarily removed from the show last year. I think Sarah Palin has also attended at least one while with Fox.

Have you forgotten Brother Phil Robertson’s so called ‘anti-gay’ remarks to some men’s magazine that got him suspended from the cast back on December 18th of 2013? That and the antithesis; Pajama Boy, were all many news addicts (like me) were talking about right after the Mandella Selfie Scandal left the front pages. Phil probably outright refused to come to that dinner, so he sent his younger brother, who seems to like these ‘Smile-A-Thons’ anyway.

Phil Robinson is Willie’s father. Willie’s older brothers are Alan, an ordained minister, and Jace. Then, there is Willie and younger brother Jep.
