All of the hysterics over drones is absurd. This statement takes it to the next level. The feds aren't dumb enough to start assassinating U.S. citizens on U.S. soil. Holder hasn't been given the ultimate power of being judge, jury and executioner of U.S. citizens on U.S. soil no matter how much paranoia is flung around about "Armed Drones". I also wasn't aware that drones carried napalm or 500+ pound bombs that could possibly erase all of the people at the Bundy Ranch (this actually might be possible but I have not yet read of this capability). Hellfire missiles, which are what drones have usually been outfitted with, are not an area effect munition. Their original intent was as an ASM to attack heavily armored ground targets. While I suppose they could be retrofitted with HE warheads, that would be an awful waste of such a weapon and would still not carry enough high explosives to kill everyone around the Bundy Ranch unless they were all bunched up in a very small area at the same time. The Viper Strike GBU-44/b is more or less a lighter weapon that is used on the Predator and neither weigh over 50Kg, which still leads me to believe that the statement above is unbelievably absurd. Even if several Predators were to release multiple weapons at the same time, Their use in attempting to "effectively kill everyone in the area" would be akin to attempting to kill a herd of 500 head of cattle by throwing a few dozen sticks of dynamite at the herd, IMO.

Really, why would the government be incredibly all out dumb enough to toss out any last vestige of credibility it has remaining in the eyes of those who are paying attention?
