Soros' visits were unexpected? Several of them in April. Soros seems to thnk that the new regime in Ukraine is capable - to what degree is possibly unknown at this time. How much will Soros invest? Who knows? EuroMaidan PR appears to think highly of Soro's opinions... Very interesting interview. McCainiacs, Soronistas and others might rejoice in this interview.

I don’t know what to make of him. I know he supported Solidarity in Poland. I know he screwed the Brits out of lots of money. I know lots of FReepers hate him, like he’s Goldstein in Orwell’s 1984. I don’t get it.

“Ukraine is a potentially attractive investment destinantion. ... The new regime in Ukraine is eager to confront that task,”

He should know..
His sons have had the Open Society NGO’s at work destabilizing a Ukraine already dealing with civil unrest for a while now, funded by the U.S taxpayer.

So in other words, he believes that the Ukraine should be unstable and prone to political chaos, but not too unstable and chaotic, so that international financiers can come in and exploit the situation without too much fear of it going totally nuclear.

Better still, in Soros’ mind, if an unstable and ineffectual Ukraine is beholden to economic and military assistance from the E.U., so that international financiers can monopolize both domestic resources as well as international aid, all while threatening to turn off the firehose of international aid should the Ukrainians get too uppity.

Yeah, I can see why he’s salivating, the evil son of a *****.

This is another Libya and Syria, IMHO... I think we need to stay out of it. Putin is a thug, but I still believe that we need to stay out of it... For instance, Libya and Syria:

Remember when we offensively intervened in Lybia? With “defensive charter” NATO? Was Lybia a member of NATO? Why do we intervene in Lybia, Syria, and Serbia, but not where there is no oil or Muslims (Serbia/Kosovo)? Why do we not intervene in Rwanda or Sudan or other situations where there are Christians being hacked to death by the tens of thousands (Sudan) and where there is no oil (Rwanda)?

How did Benghazi work out in Lybia?

Didn’t McCain get some photo ops with some rebels in Syria?

When Obama apparently was thinking about intervening in Syria -— wasn’t it about 2 years too late? Whom would intervention in Syria then have helped before Americans resoundingly said NO to the idea of intervening in Syria?

Sounds to me like Pootie-Poot might just take care of our little Soros problem for us.

The old NAZI is like an insect, feeds on death & destruction. Whatever he advocates will probably be the exact opposite course to take.

“He mentioned that “Europe, true to form, demanded a lot and offered little...”

and

“On April 6, 2014, George Soros somewhat unexpectedly visited Ukraine and held a number of meetings.”

double nonsense

Soros and his ilk, acting through their own foundations, other foundations and NGOs, have established what amounts to an “international foreign policy cartel” where THEIR agendas obtain tax-payer funding via the “state department” wings of western national governments, and where with multi-government backing THEIR agendas become defacto arms of national governments’ foreign policies - as if they have “out sourced” foreign policy BUT in fact it amounts to a defacto takeover of certain areas of foreign policy by non-governmental actors - until things go wrong - as they have done in Egypt, Syria and now Ukraine.

Soros complains that “Europe demanded a lot and offered little.” What really happened was Soros and his ilk promised what was not theirs to promise, and in the process helped set up the Ukraine and the EU for failure.

Soros’ international meddling is the problem, more than the EU.

Soros makes his Billions by trading currencies, Worldwide.

The more volatile the currency market, the more opportunity Soros has to make a greater amount of money.

Hence, Soros does his best to create as much currency volatility as possible, without being thrown in jail.
