If you listen to the video, the BLM spokesman tried to get just Bundy and his son to come through the barricade to “talk” about the cows.
The “plan” that the BLM guys in the ditch were supposed to follow was to snatch Bundy and call in the armored vehicles and backup (IMHO).
They probably realized everyone there was being set up
I’m not getting the whole set-up thing. I think it was just serendipity.
It seems like just another case of “We are the government and you will obey us”.
It would have been a disaster for Obama and Holder at this point, not to mention Reid. This was called off at the highest level most likely due to political pressure from Democrats. It escalated to quickly for the standard Marginalize, Demonize, Criminalize of the left. It got stuck on marginalize and they couldn’t.
