The “come a little closer” sign actually makes sense when you zoom in and see what they’re advertising. Seems like a perfectly good marketing strategy.

My local Walmart had a sign “The Elder scrolls online” release date Tuesday April 4th. April 4th was a Friday this year. Right next to it? I sign releasing the Blue Ray DVD for some movie ... Available Tuesday April 14th. April 14th was a Monday this year.
Sign on an ATM machine in a gas station beer outlet ... “Use your EBT card here”. That I took a picture of.

Oh my goodness, are these real? Too, too funny!
The first one reminds me of Chuck Scarborough, the long time NY news anchor.
One night they had a story, it was really quite tragic, some very young man had died, I forget how he died, but I think he was the son of a prominent person and that’s why it was on the news.
So they tell the story of the event(s) that lead to the death and Scarborough sums up by saying in a flat, monotone voice “...and later, he died.”
Hubby and I were like: way to show sympathy Chuck!
