speaking of restores, how do you restore to an older restore point when the latest restore point is only a few days ago and no other options appear in the drop down list?

I know just enough about computers to be dangerous. Anything that’s beyond basic and I’m lost.
I have gotten out of a lot of trouble by searching for the answer. Sometimes you get lucky and it’s a common problem with an easy solution.
