How does that make any sense? There's no compelling need for them to sacrifice anyone.
If we hadn't been told about these corrupt Democrats, they'd have continued in their hypocrisy and we'd never have been the wiser.
I didn’t conceive of or even float the “Dems are sacrificing some of their crooks”. I heard it on the radio today, possibly Chris Plante Show or more specifically, Michael Savage.
I’m guessing now but based on what I have been reading from all over the country, a lot of Democrat Party state and local politicians have been indicted for various crimes over the past 6 months, often at the state level.
Let me play Devil’s Advocate for a moment. To roughly quote Don Henley’s great song, “The Heat Is On”, if the upper echelons of the Democrat Party at the national level think that they can lose a Blue State because of state and local level corruption, why won’t they drop a dime on their own in order to save the higher ups?
Anonymous phone calls, documents sent through the mail, tapes, etc - all standard tactics for setting up or sending up someone. Untraceable but often with some known or demonstrable truths to what they claim. Then let the Feds and State Police (usually much less corrupt than the locals), handle the investigations.
A neat, efficient way to let someone else clean your crooked house. Then you promote lower officials on the grounds that they will bring a newer group of honest officials in to get rid of the “old corrupted politicians” of the Clinton regime.
It is do-able and cost efficient too.
Not saying that this is what is going on, and for some cases, it would be almost impossible to set them up for exposure. However, if the Dems want to run Hillary or even a newer face in 2016, they will have to claim to have cleaned out the “old” in order to bring in the “new”.
On the Conservative side, they are doing their own house cleaning on principled grounds, i.e. keeping to their oaths of office, not getting bought off with power trips and posts, and actually fighting to preserve American ideals and culture. The Democrat Left has no “Tea Party” to serve as their conscience. In fact, the Dems have no “conscience” at all, only the primal desire for self preservation and an insatiable desire/lust for power (sort of an “establishment” type of fascism or communism).
In trying to solve a crime and/or criminal conspiracy, you always follow the money trail as well as ask who benefits the most from something. I worked on an Assets Seizure Organized Crime Task Force and millions, if not tens of millions of dollars were involved. Combined law enforcement agencies followed the money trail, the assets trail, and the geographical network of the organized crime families.
It was no wonder that Att. Gen. Janet Reno quashed the indictments of the Labors International Union of North America. The money trail, as exposed by journalist Byron York, led right to the White House (Clintons) and the Democrat Party.
The old saying “Head ‘em off at the pass” applies to politics as well. If you’ve got problems, head them off by passing them off to others, i.e. law enforcement. Perhaps, and this is a wide stretch of the imagination “perhaps”, some of the Dems are letting the law enforcement agencies be their “cleaners”, instead of doing it in-house.
Remember, they are Democrats so I wouldn’t put anything past them.
Also remember, I’m playing the Devil’s Advocate here, not advocating the set-up theory myself.
If the Dems lose big this November, they could lose the whole enchilada in 2016, which would mean that a lot of them would eventually go to jail over Fast & Furious, Benghazi, IRS scandal, Solyndra et al, and plain old bribery.
If the Republicans win both houses this Fall, just image the number of really serious and long-lasting congressional investigations that would be set up, all the way to November 2016.
By tying the Dems nuts up in a Gordian Knot for the next two years, the Republicans could strangle the Democrat Party financially and with negative propaganda, as well as hearings, reports, indictments, etc.
Obama doesn’t give a flying f*ck about those below him, because they are below the Messiah. He only wants to leave some kind of legacy behind, which would be a crippled but marxist principles guided economy, an emasculated defense system, crippled intelligence operations, Latin America in the hands of the communists, a fully resurgent Russia, an unchallenged Red China, and an immigration mess, as well as a crippled culture, a severe religious divide, racial divides, and language divides.
He wants to destroy any ties to his policies so why not blame it on the Democrat Party underlings. He’ll find a job teaching law and the Constitution (which he will have destroyed), at some prestigeous university who doesn’t give a crap that he wrecked our country, so whatever happens to someone else, tought shit.
The Democrats of today are immoral or morals-less political alley cats who will screw everyone and anyone for money and power (look at Charlie Rangel, Harry Reid, Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, the Cuomos, Terry McAuliffe, Mrs. Mengele Sebelius, and the other wreckers of America).
If someone has to be sold out in order for them to stay in power, so be it, and it will be done.
Just some thoughts on what is and what is possible. When it comes to our enemies, never say they can’t do something because they will. Trust me, I know the enemy very well. I learned from the best of them and I have sworn to destroy them.
Oh, it's not our enemies I doubt: it's our ostensible "friends."
Frankly, I favor the "Wag The Dog" theory because I know the Democrats, and they as well as the Republicans know it too, have an unbreakable lock on "the national conversation." There is literally no public institution that can hold them accountable for their actions.
Therefore, I think this obviously orchestrated campaign against them, to both punish and communicate a message to them, is not being carried out by an institution we normally think of as "public."
I think we still have some patriots left and they actually fear for the future of this nation and are taking action...The Black Deputy US General in Philly has been raising Cain over five Dem councilmen the State attorney General dropped charges on AFTER taking the cases away from the USDOJ. Article was here three days ago. Yes, there may be some good guys left.
I heard someone say on TV that they are getting the dems ‘out of the way’ now and will start on the republicans closer to election time. Just a thought.
Fed up and scared, most likely. In equal measures.
