The best response to this would be to label Guinness, Heineken and Sam Adams, as "gay beers". If they love the homosexual market so much, let them make their money from it, not heterosexual beer drinkers.

This could especially work if when women are approached in bars by (obnoxious) men who are drinking it, they can suggest something to the effect of "Why are you hitting on me? You're drinking gay beer, so you must be gay!"

Someone could even do an Internet campaign showing flamboyant gay men, with a caption like "I'm gay and I'm proud! That's why I drink Heineken!"

Scooter had a good take on that:

Guinness Goes Gay

BOSTON (WNB) - Guinness joined Heineken and Sam Adams in pulling its sponsorship of St. Patrick’s Day parades in New York and Boston, citing organizers’ restrictions on gay and lesbian participants as a central reason for cutting ties.

"Guinness has a strong history of supporting diversity and being an advocate for equality for all," read the Guinness statement. "As this has not come to pass, Guinness has withdrawn its participation. We will continue to work with community leaders to ensure that future parades have an inclusionary policy."

In possibly-related news, Texas brewer Lone Star is reporting extremely heavy sales of their new "Not Gay" brand beer at both Boston and New York St. Patrick's Day events.
