they are better at political activism since they are beholden to the unions
the best teachers deserve to be paid accordingly, they are always the ones left to fend for themselves
I see your point. That was my experience too both as a student and a professor. Many teachers and most high school counselors I suspect are really interested in help a few students get into the very selective schools.
The first email address on the recipient list was that of my son’s teacher, and she certainly has our addresses, so I assume she gave them our addresses.
OK, so do most private sector workers. Bottom line, if you don't then you are actually underperforming.
I agree wholeheartedly. I’ve always been fascinated by the ‘I only have to do what the contract says’ mentality.
It goes right along with those among us who justify their actions by pointing to legality, not morality.
