Fairly new member. Maybe he’s just mistaken. Don’t know exactly...but the statement has a lot of mis-information and misdirection in it.
For instance. No, in ‘79 you didn’t have to “register for the draft” as there was no draft. However, starting in 1980 you had to register for selective service. Or face penalties. I know. I’m the same age, almost to the day, as Obama. Or as old as he claims to be anyway.
I saw a selective service registration posted for Obama. If it was real, and it was posted as legitimate, then that was a bigger joke of a forgery than the B.C.
So, yea, The Public Eye. You had to register for selective service. Don’t know what you can do about it now. I haven’t checked on the penalties as I registered as required. You might want to check on it though.
Maybe he'll get drafted, or have to move to Canada. I hear it's not nice there this time of year.
