Well I once heard a good story.
Two people woere stranded on the roof of their house in a terrible flood. After awhile a boat came by and the people were asked if they needed a ride to safety. They said “no the Lord will save us”. A little while later another rescue boat came by and asked if they could help the two people on the roof. They again replied “We are waiting for God. He will Save us.”
Finally the two people on the roof died from dehydration. When they got to Heaven and were in the presence of God the man asked God “Lord when we were stranded on the roof why did’nt you come to save us?” The Lord replied “What are you talking about? I sent two boars.”
Even Jesus said we should prepare ourselves. I hope you do.

We are all guilty of this at times, or all the time depending who you are, which is WHY we must be prepared in the ways He Commands...which is to know His Word, obey it, be sober, and watchful for the signs of His Coming.
Sister, this is a spiritual war we are in, and must put on the “Armor of God”, so that we may be able to withstand the wiles of the devil. There is no amount of “physical” or “worldly” preparation during these last days that will ensure your survival from this until Jesus returns unless you are first grounded in HIM, putting Him at the helm. And if there IS any “preparations” that we are required to make for ourselves here in the physical world, our Lord will advise us of it. We must learn to “listen” to His Voice, and be as faithful to Him as He is to those who love Him.
As for myself, I AM preparing, though not in order to SAVE my life...but to TRUST in the Lord to direct me to ALL paths that lead to HIM. I am a sinner, and NEED Him to lead me in the way I should go. We are already assured of His Provisions for us during not only these current times, but all the time. Prepare for His Return, and He will provide all else. Trust this. HE is the ONLY thing in this life that we should put our trust.
