I answered a ping.
This morning after being treated to a coupla hours of NYC local news on Fox, commenting on this thread was a bit of venting.
There isn’t anything that changes the fact, though: NYC media thinks the world is interested in NYC’s local news.

MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) Authorities are investigating a fire that claimed the life of a man in Atlanta’s suburbs.
CBS Atlanta reports (http://bit.ly/N5RY5S) that the blaze happened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in Marietta, just northwest of Atlanta.
Cobb County fire officials say the man who died was 58 years old. His name wasn’t released.
Few other details were immediately available as authorities continued to investigate the fire’s cause.
Didn’t realize Marietta was a global terrorism target—or that a rail that supports 300,000 daily commuters was knocked out of commission in GA.
How often does Fox cover a single grizzly murder that affects a family and neighborhood at most?
