What can you do against a crooked cop that becomes a criminal with a badge? Unless you know the police chief well enough to know that he/she isn’t in cahoots with or will cover up for the crooked cop, there is little you can do.

The criminals in power do not want enforcers with
empathy or a consciensce. Those attributes make
the hired help unsuitable for dispensing violence
and imposing the will of the elite willingly so
they screen to eliminate such traits. Once you
populate a profession with sociopathic violence
prone and violence loving personalities you see this
type of behavior both in and out of uniform on a
routine and regular basis. The only mistake make
by the criminal is he committed the crime while not
in uniform and working at his chosen profession of
state enforcer. As an employed badgemonkey such
conduct is covered for and hidden by associates.
