Wet there are still plenty of Freepers that insist that we vote GOP “No matter what”.
Let that sink in folks.
Edit...YET...
they are all over the place and i have taken my fair share of flak from them.
I agree that we must vote against Democrats. But there are some who cross the line. McConnell and Cornyn, among others, are some of these. Arlen Specter was MY waste of a GOP senator, e.g. Now, I think the question to ask is “Would this candidate be a Democrat if he lived in Massachusetts?” If yes, why vote for him or her? Bob
Seems like libertarians like myself have no alternative but stay in the GOP as an “enemy within” so I can vote for a true American nominee. Seems like you need to rebel inside the GOP. Many Tea Party candidates reside in the GOP. I want to be involved in nominating those guys. Seems like abandoning the GOP is suicide becasue there’s no other viable political opposition - better to be the “enemy within” the GOP.
Oh yeah, those lesser than two evil folks. Those who always want to fight
another day.
Thank you for the apt reminder. These who would go along with the GOP against the gains and efforts of the TEA Party would harangue the defenders of the Alamo, and would not hesitate to point a finger against patriots at crunch time.
Not only on FR...but most of GOP Media pushes the “vote GOP no matter what” mantra.
Once that is stopped...then conservatives will win
The ONLY reason I am still registered as a republican is so I can vote against McConnell in the primary.
