“Yeah, Caddell is a Democrat, but what makes him different is that he’s an honest guy and loves his country more than he loves his Party.”

Sure, just as Bill Clinton looked us straight in the eye and told us he did not have an affair with Lewinsky and Obama looked us in the eye and told us we can keep our doctors.

Anyone ever heard of “divide and conquer”?! This is exactly what the Dems are doing, I can’t believe all of you falling for this.

This country is lost, when even people who are supposed to be sensible conservatives fall for the Dem propaganda, when it’s painfully obvious that the only purpose is exactly the set Republicans against each other, to save the Dems.

PS — PapaNew, I see you do get it, unlike the rest of the posters, who amazingly rather believe a Dem operative... than their own eyes.

Well the only reason I’m not currently voting Tea Party, is because nobody is (currently) running as that.

2016 is more than two years from now.

Just saying. GOP start supporting America, start supporting AMERICAN JOBS, and stop supporting Obama.

Nobody currently in our political class gives one thin dime, about Americans anymore.

Nobody.

Seriously, I understand what you're saying, but it's just not Caddell's comments in isolation. It's Caddell's words plus all the recent actions by the GOP that lend credibility to this statement. Consider:

Republicans stabbing Ted Cruz in the back

The GOP pushing amnesty despite roaring opposition from the grassroots

McCain, again, stating that immigration reform will be up this year.

Karl Rove

All talk and absolutely nothing concrete from anything Issa has been investigating for months on end.

So it's not Caddell's word in isolation, it's 2+2=4. Let me say this, I hope I am wrong and I hope you are right. If you are right we'll find out soon enough, and the GOP-e could dispell all of this by reaching out to the Tea Party types. The sad reality is that, historically, the GOP-e has never been comfortable with social Conservatives. I myself am guilty, as a team player, of holding my nose and voting for Dole, McCain, and Romney. No more. Never again for me.

You’ve now likened Pat Caddell to Bill Clinton.

Kiss whatever credibility you may have had goodbye. I hope you wise up soon.

Oh to be naive or ignorant again. Life was so blissful and simple.

Try expanding your reading material or stop trying to put everything in your own little box so that the world all makes sense to you. Yeah its a little uncomfortable at first, but those around you might tolerate your presence,

Too tired and lazy to do what you should have been doing before expressing an opinion in a forum such as this.. But here is some reading material for you

http://www.nationaljournal.com/politics/inside-the-messy-but-moneyed-republican-plan-to-neutralize-the-tea-party-20131024

Many more and much better articles than these, but am too lazy to hold your hand and do your work for you

Huh? JackAss Boehner went on Leno's and attacked the TEA Party. McConnely attacks the TEA Party. Hey, Boehner where are the Select Committees investigating the IRS? Benghazi? NSA? AP? NOWHERE!!!!

Damn straight Boehner, Cantor, Rove, McConnell have sided with Obama and the Democrats.

Want more proof? Here it is:

You republican party hates your guts... they hate your conservatism... they hate your ideology... because I am a Conservative like yourself and they hate me. Rush has been told directly by GOP/E leaders that social conservatism must die... gays and abortion must be accepted... and they told him this going back as far as the 80’s. He and others have warned us for many years... the gop/e cannot be trusted. They have proven this by their own actions. Remember when boehner was given a second chance and when he was sworn in as speaker for the second time said, “We have heard you LOUD AND CLEAR and we will get it right this time”. How is that working out for you now?

I have heard the words of boehner, cornyn, mccain, corker and others... through those in the room with them at the times that they have spoken out against us. I have heard Mike and Ted talk about how these so called leaders despise us and really hate religious Conservatives (interviews with Rush). They want us destroyed. They are in collusion with the rats and irs to destroy the ability of the TEA Party to have an impact. If you want to blame the divisions within the republican party on someone... blame those that control the republican machine. Your argument no longer holds water and only further divides an already dying party.
