Having my thread pulled for uttering the three letter English word for cigarette. It was considered a profanity. Who would have thought?
I would not comment on that because I have not heard "the other side of the story".
I may be remiss but something of a laugh on the interpretation of words. Words that were in common usage and now may have some hurtful effect. Herewith:
One of my hometowns in England has a website. Someone recalled a small café which I passed by on my way to school in WW2. I mentioned the proprietor was a mysterious looking man with a beard. I used the description "a Van Dyke beard". This being a short sharp beard. It came up on the website as a Van **** . I laughed and laughed. I presume the website had a block on a rather unpleasant description of a certain kind of female.

The implications are terrible.
My thread entitled “Man arrested for having sex with a bicycle” was pulled. Maybe because I included a pic of the bicycle? (actually the comments got out of hand, including mine!)

Here’s something you may want use in the future. Save the post you wanted to use then wait for Freeper to start a thread similar to yours then piggy back on it with yours.
If THAT FReeper is looked fondly upon by the Court of Mods, it won’t get pulled.
