You just ignore anything that goes against what you want to believe.

Only diehard Obama supporters would believe what the liberal media reports. Initial reports (before the White House got involved) were no internet connection and no telephone. They would really like on Moveon.org.

Why make up more nonsense to fake a personal attack.

You are wrong in your claims about the early coverage, reporting some primitive hovel “”And don’t forget that the initial stories coming out of the media were his compound was primitive, no TV, no computers, no nothing.””.

These are the actual stories, this was typical of the first news reports.
“”By MIKE ALLEN | 5/2/11 7:51 PM EDT
The assault force of Navy SEALs snatched a trove of computer drives and disks during their weekend raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound, yielding what a U.S. official called “the mother lode of intelligence.”
The special operations forces grabbed personal computers, thumb drives and electronic equipment during the lightning raid that killed bin Laden, officials told POLITICO.””

The huge news was the death and the capture of all the computer drives, the part about the internet and landlines was about SECURITY ISSUES, Bin Laden was using couriers to avoid the NSA and American electronic capabilities.

You are making up this nonsense about the coverage creating computers and tv weeks after the raid, and you are totally misinterpreting the meaning of why the MILLION DOLLAR COMPOUND was described as not having internet or phone lines.

When has that ever changed? When did you find the phone lines and internet to his compound?

Here is what is written in the book, "No Easy Day".
No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission that Killed Osama bin Laden is a military memoir by "Mark Owen", the pseudonym of a former member of the United States Naval Special Warfare Development.

Maybe if you read it again, it might sink in, but I doubt it. I didn’t know we have Barry fans on FR. I have been proven wrong.

After the White House read the truth about what was found in the “compound”, the lies started.............

http://www.nbcnews.com/id/42853221/ns/world_news-death_of_bin_laden/t/how-us-tracked-couriers-elaborate-bin-laden-compound/#.UsnQqLSzJ0Q

“This home, U.S. intelligence analysts concluded, was “custom built to hide someone of significance.”

“The plot of land was roughly eight times larger than the other homes in the area. It was built in 2005 on the outskirts of town, but now some other homes are nearby.

“Physical security is extraordinary: 12 to 18 foot walls, walled areas, restricted access by two security gates.” The residents burn their trash, unlike their neighbors. There are no windows facing the road. One part of the compound has its own seven-foot privacy wall.

And unusual for a compound valued at more than $1 million: It had no telephone or Internet service”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osama_bin_Laden%27s_compound_in_Abbottabad

On a plot of land much larger than those of nearby houses, it was surrounded by 5.5-metre (18 ft)[5][31] concrete walls topped with barbed wire.[32] Apart from its size, it does not stand out from others in the neighborhood[33] and it was not easily seen except from close by.[34] The compound walls are higher than usual in the neighborhood, although nearly all houses in Bilal Town have barbed wire.[34] There were no phones or internet wires running into the compound.

This is the lie, you made this up.

And don’t forget that the initial stories coming out of the media were his compound was primitive, no TV, no computers, no nothing. Then within a couple of weeks the same compound was being referred to as a “command center” for all worldwide terrorist activities, and that Bin Laden was the still the acknowledged mastermind and on-scene leader of Al Queda. All the sudden his once primitive compound contained all sorts of intelligence information that would be used for years to come to fight terrorism. In otherwords Obama had hit the motherlode. Nothing else left to be done except to vote for Barry the Bold, the slayer of the terrible Bin Laden. All hail the great and powerful Barry the Bold. Bow down the the all powerful leader, who will protect us all from harm. Feel like throwing up yet?

You made that up, and I still don’t know when you think they discovered phone lines and internet in the house.

Your story that you are linking to is from the day after the raid, and it is correctly reporting no phone lines or internet, and that it was a million dollar house.

Don’t bother replying anymore. Impossible to reason with Obama supporters. To them, the great Barry the Bold can do no wrong. That’s my last word on the subject.

I almost stopped reading when I saw it went to an On-swipe site. I did stop reading when the writer says another guy got a letter from his friend. But he won’t release it.

Well...that’s great sourcing. How about some proof.

Replying? You were wrong about your claim the media took weeks to mention all the great mass of computer data we got from Bin Ladens million dollar compound.

But you should post us to your source showing that the Navy SEALs and media were lying about the compound not having internet or landlines.

NBC News.

“IT HAD NO TELEPHONE OR INTERNET SERVICE”

And from Reuters.........

“It is also noteworthy that the property is valued at approximately $1 million but has no telephone or Internet service connected to it,” an administration official said.

That is still the case, do you think that he did have an internet connection and telephone line?

Kind of hard to be the “mastermind” of a worldwide terror organization when you have no contact with the outside world.
What did he use? Carrier pidgons? Whoever was holed up in that comound had no idea whatsover what another raghead was doing. And did you know that Bin Laden was never charged with the 9/11 attacks? FBI couldn’t prove he was involved. Yes he took credit for it because he was a blowhard like his brother Barry the Bold. If anyone thinks the US special forces didn’t kill this SOB shortly after 9/11 they’ll believe in the tooth fairy. Best bet is he died at Tora Bora.

I do not believe the “official” story on OBL.

I don’t think he died at Tora Bora, but I would not be surprised to find he did.

The story goes that he did not use the internet. And he DID have curriers bringing stuff to him. That’s how he got caught.

Personally, I think they went to capture the guy and ended up crashing. That alerted the ground forces. Since there was an American helo sitting in the courtyard for everyone to see they really could not deny that it was taking place.

They never wanted us to know. But they had no choice.

I cannot imagine SPECOPS types that would even be willing to agree to pull off a lie of this magnitude and also cost this nation the loss of it’s stealth technology. In 1968-early 1969, the unit I was in ( CCS) conducted the cross border recon OPS and performed the BDA’s of COSVN west of the fish hook in Cambodia. We lost an entire recon team on the first BDA except one CPT, and then my old second company yards went in with five USSF on 24 April 1969. Only one CPT is alive from that BDA. The secret bombings that Nixon ordered even had a former CPT from my unit testify to Congress about them. He had been the assistant launch officer at that southern launch site plus a former recon company CO. Yes,he divulged TS SCI INFO to Congress. I never did not know about the testimony until 2002. I do not agree, but; he felt he was lied to when they claimed nothing could survive arc lights. We were told if anyone was still alive they’d be so stunned and hurt all we’d have to do was carry them out for a POW. The truth is those arc lights were like poking a stick in a hornet’s nest. The NVA were dug in.

This man reporting this is fishy.
