And really evil people. But, when you look at the Star Spangled Banner, of Francis Scott Key fame, the stars point neither up nor down.
Could be. I’m sure many of their buildings predate the colonies.
OH, I see!
Wellnow! There’s a new twist! I’ll have one of each, thanks! With all the farriers around here, I should be able to find one with a couple of used shoes to sell!
WHOA! Thanks, DC! No wonder I love you, man!
Tom is a nerd. He has reconciled himself to the fact that he is above manual labor and that his intellect will carry him through the rest of his life.
Good luck to Tom!
The longer Bill can hang in at Burlington, the better his chances are when he applies somewhere else that pays more. Taking a few retail-oriented classes wouldn’t hurt, either. They would look really good on his resume.
Bill has taken Psychology, and this semester he’s taking accounting. I guess it hasn’t been difficult so far, because he hasn’t asked me anything.
If I didn’t have wine, I’d try to kill Tom, probably. Until I ran out of cake.
Would need to see his other arm. Normally, asymmetrical muscular development is an indicator that the person is a smith.
And here I thought it was my sparkling personality and bulging biceps...
;-)
That was it for me.
Love y’all too... like the Brothers and Sisters I never had.
Well, I have Sisters... But I fight with them. Not so much with y’all... ;-)
‘Face and I both think you’re as cool as the Dwarves in “The Hobbit.”
I’m an awfully tall Dwarf.
Skippy and Crew in the Castle forges have offered to shorten my legs for me, but only if I agree to grow a better beard.
That's been my life's plan and I'm sticking to it.
And your mother didn’t kill you, because she had plenty of wine and cake ...
On my skull? No. I have a skull that is a phrenologists nightmare.
Plus, I have blue eyes. That’d betray some Elvish blood somewhere in the Family woodshed...
Somehow, I empathize with you about Tom. Wine is a wonderful equalizer!
I have one (large) flat rate box packed, sealed and labeled, and will work on the other one. I have a little more sorting to do, then can pack what will fit best.
So far, I’ve only found two books, but when I run across the others I will send them.
Doing this has freed up a 5-drawer storage container that needs to be utilized for something softer...like sox and dainties! LOL!
Hmmmm. We just learned in “The Desolation of Smaug” that an Elf/Dwarf partnership isn’t out of the question ... but where’d the Klingons come in?
Them too, but this IS open forum...no sense divulging ALL our secrets! LOL!
I love it when people clear out storage compartments. I will talk with Asuncion about the value of your goods, plus postage. I’m sure she and the Middle School Girls will be very happy. “Maria’s Birthday” is coming up soon, so I’ll be seeing some of the Moms of Middle School Girls, sober enough to drive to Maria’s house ;-).
