I’m noted for making “What’s with this casserole again?” and “That meat dish,” and “The stuff with lentils,” and “The chickpea dish with noodles” and “The noodle dish with chickpeas.”

We have that. I don’t care what they think: if they’re hungry, they’ll eat it.

I knew a guy once who put it all very clearly: Does a starving man want a ham sandwich?

Does a starving boy want crockpot chicken soup? Or to put it differently, is a boy who doesn’t want crockpot chicken soup starving?

“Shawl” is a type of garment. “Pashmina” is a type of fabric. This is a one ... actually a long, wide rectangle ... made of the second.

if theyre hungry, theyll eat it.Works on humans.
My Mother's thoughts also. Of course with her, if it was put on your plate you ate it, period.
However, the Cat will stare at it with disdain, refuse to eat, glare at you with a death stare, and sulk off into a corner..
And if you don't produce something to their liking with your next offering, they will repeat the action.
I'm beginning to think that they have a stash hiding somewhere, but they have it well hidden..

Whats with this casserole again? and That meat dish, and The stuff with lentils, and The chickpea dish with noodles and The noodle dish with chickpeas.Sounds like the inventive names I give the stuff I cook...
I get some really interesting looks when I get asked what the stuff I brought to the Church pot-luck is called... ;-)

If it tastes good, who cares what it’s called?
Bet nobody refuses to try your stuff.
Humans have to put a fancy name on everything, makes then feel important.
So what is on at restaurant NC tonight? Be around in a bit... :)

“Cucumbers just give me indigestion.”
Scandalous!
I love cucumbers.
And portabella mushrooms with them.
[Don’t ask. ]

So what is on at restaurant NC tonight?Just simply the most exquisite meal - it's called "warm up the left-overs." If I come up with a more elegant appellation, I will let you know.. ;-)
And if they find that menu not to their liking, the alternate menu reads thusly: "There's the fridge, there's the pantry, find something and fix it yourself. Or not. Your choice."

I know enough about dancing to know that there’s no avoiding corners if you’re square dancing.
