No one is saying the story is not real. Bateman is being portrayed as a member of our Military. He is not. He is part of a local state volunteer auxiliary group. NY Guard is NOT the same as The National Guard. Thanks for the clarification
Still, I am afraid that by the end of Obozo's term, an awful lot of the military hierarchy will be in his camp.

an awful lot of the military hierarchy will be in his camp They would have to have troops that would agree to violate the Constitution. (In a worst case scenario.) And they'd still have to have the cooperation of local law enforcement.
