Yale students are being urged to stay indoors until further notice after what the school is calling a confirmed report of a person with a gun on or near Old Campus.
New Haven Police received an anonymous call from a phone booth in the 300 block of Columbus Avenue reporting a person on the Yale Campus with a gun, according to the school’s website.
Students have been on break since Saturday and classes do not resume until Dec. 2, but police are advising people who are still on campus to stay in their current location.
